দীক্ষা - DIKKHA

Bangladesh is considered a developing country in which lack of financial aid, opportunity, and consciousness are the main obstacles against it’s facility deprived children. We, some volunteers of Jahangirnagar University strongly believe that those obstacles can be removed to a great extent if we try. Henceforth, DIKKHA was established as a social welfare association in 1st april,2014 to provide contribution to the education facility deprived children in order to educate them.

ABOUT DIKKHA : -
Dikkha is a social welfare organization which seeks to educate the education facility deprived children across Bangladesh, who do not get financial aid and social support enough to acquire education. Most of these children are even being deprived of their fundamental rights. In a formal procedure, Dikkha attempts to provide with continuous support, developing a strong interconnected network of volunteers especially based on the university students. Dikkha aims to establish many mobile schools for them with direct service and works as an autonomous association for the Education Facility Deprived Children.

Vision:
1. To provide pre-primary direct support with extra academic and vocational campaign.
2. To build leadership quality in a continuous process.
3. To nourish and develop the deprived children into successful human resource.
4. To arouse social consciousness.
5. To motivate them to take part in Junior School Certificate exam and different programs.

Membership:
As a process of getting membership in DIKKHA one must fill up the registration form with 50 taka available on Sundays and Tuesdays and from 3.30pm – 5.30 pm.
