ALOK MJF Training Center

Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) was established in 2002 as an initiative to promote human rights and good governance in Bangladesh through partnership. MJF works with different sectors of the society including non-government organizations, civil society, private sector, and state institutions. It provides financial and technical support to the stakeholders to create an enabling environment where human rights and good governance are upheld and nurtured by the stakeholders. MJF has partnered with more than 150 organizations all over Bangladesh.

Capacity Development (CD) unit of MJF has been working to strengthen the human and institutional capacity of partner organizations so that they can implement their programs more effectively, efficiently and sustainable way. So far more than 2000 senior and mid level partner’s organizations staffs have received training on human rights & governance, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, financial management etc. In addition more than 100 organizations attended workshop on gender, finance and personnel policy development and have developed their organizational policies.

Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) has established a Training Center at its office premises named "ALOK-MJF Training Center”. This center provides residential facilities for 22 (maximum) participants and a training hall, which can accommodate 35 people.

After successful completion of 1 ½ year of ALOK -MJF Training Center, a second training center has established in Banani. MJF training centers are successfully operating and receiving excellent commendations from various national and international organizations.
