Bangobandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had played a leading role against the autocratic, undemocratic and oppressive rule of Pakistani regime. He was born in 17th March 1920 and died on 15th August 1975. This hall was named as Bangobandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by Islamic University authority in the name of that eminent politician who dedicated his whole life for the sake of democracy. First provost of this hall was Md. Selim Toha. Accomodation of this hall is 400. For the physical, mental and academic developments there dining hall, canteen, gymnasium, common rooms, news paper room, seminar room, TV room and mosque in the hall. Foundation Stone Placed of the hall 5th December 1999.
