Cox's Bazar International Stadium

Cox's Bazar Cricket Stadium (Bengali: কক্সবাজার ক্রিকেট স্টেডিয়াম) is an under construction cricket stadium in the tourist town Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. It is being built on a leased land from Cox's Bazar Golf Course. The stadium was a shortlisted venue for the 2014 ICC World Twenty20, however it will only host practice matches.
কক্সবাজারে এটাই প্রথম আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেট ভেন্যু। প্রায় সাত হাজার ৮০০ দর্শক ধারণক্ষম হবে স্টেডিয়ামটি। প্রয়াত শেখ কামালের নামে স্টেডিয়ামের নামকরণের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে বিসিবি। বঙ্গবন্ধু-তনয় শেখ কামালের ছিল ক্রিকেটার পরিচয়ও। পেস বোলিং অলরাউন্ডার হিসেবে খেলেছেন উদিতি ক্লাব, ধানমন্ডি ক্লাব ও পরে নিজের গড়া ক্লাব আবাহনীতে।
