Department of EEE, DIU

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) was established in the year 2009. It is now one of the largest departments of this university. The department is very growing and rising. After getting approval from the University Grant Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh in the year 2009 the department started its journey with 27 students. Within a short period of time, the growth of student admission has become tremendously high. We have developed sufficient classrooms and lab facilities in accordance with the growth of the students. Electrical and Electronic Engineering has established itself as one of the most important branches of engineering. In this branch of engineering students can have the opportunity to build up their career in the fields of Electronics, Power System, Communication Engineering and also in Information Technology at various public and private organizations. With increasing importance and demand of skilled engineers for each of these areas at home and abroad, the university authority also feels the need to open post graduate studies leading to Masters and Ph.D. degrees. This department will provide the students an opportunity to obtain broad knowledge in the above sectors/fields with some freedom to tailor the program according to the students’ individual needs.
