What is DRONE?
The students of DIIT (Daffodil Institute of IT - Uttara Campus) have formulated a student council entitled DRONE (DIIT Rising of New Excellence).
Aims of DRONE
• Representing students at various levels.
• Following-up students’ issues, discussing them and finding solutions.
• Developing students’ awareness that makes the student a conscious, productive and creative citizen.
• Developing spiritual values and moral ideals of the student to deepen the concept of unity between students.
• Developing an environment conducive to educational and personal development.
• Developing friendship and respect among pupils.
• Developing the student’s character, the spirit of leadership among students and giving them the opportunity to express their opinions.
• Making students aware of their rights and duties in accordance with the institute rules and regulations.
• Encouraging students’ activities in the institute area.
• Encouraging the students’ academic process and encouraging the outstanding students to raise their level, abilities and skills.
• Spreading the spirit of cooperation among students and building closer relationships between them and the faculty members and administrative staff.
• Maintaining the achievements of the institute and contributing to raise them to the highest level.
• Establishing the system in accordance with DIIT mission and goals.
• Cooperating with the institute in developing students’ services.
• Representing the views of the student body to the institute management.
