Incandescence, NIT Silchar

Incandescence, the annual cultural festival of NIT Silchar emerges to be the most anticipated event not only in the whole of North East but also across the country. Incandescence stands apart for being the most vibrant, enthusiastic and energetic event in the Northeast. The students maintain the culture of delivering dedication and perfection up to the highest level. From eminent poets from across the country conveying values with melodious verses in “Kavi Sammelan” to wild and energetic performance in “Thundermarch” Incandescence has had it all over the years. It has evolved as the motivator for many with “Carpe diem” the star night. Competitiveness in a healthy manner is always encouraged as Incandescence also provides platform to prove one’s talent in dance, music and many more. As a youth festival we revere our responsibility towards the society and keep the mettle to fulfill it. Street Plays, Blood Donation camps, helping poor children though Gyansagar and steering the younger generation through “Razzmatazz”, we NITSians never fall behind when it comes to humanity.
Incandescence has a tradition of crafting excellence. As participation from numerous colleges rise and the perseverance to get supreme this year we devote ourselves to create the biggest cultural extravaganza Incandescence 2015.
