Mirpur Govt. High School

The school was established during the then East Pakistan period. It is involved with the history of Bangla language movement & obviously with the history of war of liberation in 1971. It was formally named as Bengali Medium School until the Ershad Government named & transferred it into a Government school named presently as Mirpur Government High School ( MGHS ) in 1983((maybe). It is the only one Government High School in the greater Mirpur (Mirpur-1,Mirpur-10, Daruslam,Shah-Ali, Gabtoli, Kafrul, Pallabi) zone. In the early 80's , students from this school used to stand in the Dhaka Board. Now more students are getting A+ in the SSC exam day by day. It has dual shift classes. One is for Girls in the Morning shift(07:00 after meridian to 12:00 p.m.) & another one is for Boys in the Day shift(12:00 p.m. to 05:00 past meridian). The school has a large play ground which is really awesome.
