Off road beach travel to Kuakata
Kuakata Sea Beach is the second most famous beaches located at southwest side of Bangladesh.
This is the off road adventure beach and island travel destination. Many adventure lover like to cruise journey by rocket steamer 1st class up to Barisal then heading short drive to Kuakata for adventure. This trip introduces river scenic beauties, beach, island, mangrove jungle, dry fishing activities and Rakhain Buddhist communities cultural activities.
There are three ways to reach Kuakata.

1. By Plane from Dhaka Airport:
Depart Dhaka to Barisal by air for half an hour domestic flight, after landing in Barisal airport in the morning he can go up to Kuakata by hired cars or Micro-buses which will take approximately three hours to reach there. Besides, travelers can go to Kuakata by BRTC or local buses which takes approximately four hours or little bit more time. There are two Bus Stations exist in Barisal namely Notullabad Bus Station and Rupatoli Bus Station. There is only one Ferry left on the way to Kuakata at Lebukhali before touching Patuakhali.

2. By Launch waterways:
Depart Dhaka to Barisal by luxury public lauch from Sadar Ghat in the late evening at around 8:00 PM, while arrived Barisal Launch Ghat next day in the early morning. Visitors can go to Kuakata by hired cars or Micro-buses which will take approximately three hours to reach Kuakata. Besides, he can go to Kuakata by local buses which will take approximately four hours or little more time. There is only one Ferry left on the way to Kuakata at Lebukhali before touching Patuakhali highways.

Best way accessible Kuakata via Patuakhali by Launch from Dhaka
Sadar Ghat in the evening at around 5:00PM heading to Patuakhali directly
(The most comfortable journey) while visitors will arrive in Patuakhali Launch
Ghat the next day early morning, go to Kuakata by hired cars or Micro-buses which will take approximately two hours to reach Kuakata. Besides, he can go to Kuakata by local buses which will take approximately three hours or more. There is no Ferry left on the way to Kuakata from Patuakhali by road.

3. By Road:
One can drive his car or SUV straight from Dhaka to Kuakata personally via Paturia Ferry Ghat or Mawa Ferry Ghat depending on his own choices and considering existing traffic congestion situation which may approximately take eight hours or bit more to reach Kuakata. Besides, there are BRTC and other private transportation company busses run between Dhaka and Kuakata from Gabtoli Bus Station and Jatrabari Bus Station which is a nine hours ride or bit more approximately.
