Without dream we born but can't die. An Idea is a form of a dream. When it comes, at first we can't perceive it, we only feel a great sensation in our tiny brain. We feel that something is becoming. Something is forcing us to die for a reason. We shape the meaningless with our power of perception. We die for our dream. We die for our idea.
When Psychology Reading Club (PRC) was informally formed near 1st, September 2013, it was just an Idea. It was formed by eleven sagacious students of “Psychology Department, University of Dhaka” with the blessing of an assistant professor “Salim Hossain” of this Psychology Department. Psychology Reading Club is also thankful to “Asheek Mohammad Shimul” another Assistant professor of this glorious department.
The First Members Meeting of Psychology Reading Club was arranged at January 22, 2014. The first session of this club was held in Monday, February 24, 2014
Psychology Reading Club believes that a university is a place of creating knowledge. Thus, Psychology it is formed.

At first, Psychology Reading Club was only an idea of a meritorious student of Psychology Department at University of Dhaka. The Student’s name is “Saiful Islam Tuhin" . He shared this innovative idea with two other students of his department. They are "Sazzad Chowdhury" and "K N Khan Pinny". Tuhin and Sazzad started to share their knowledge when they read at the Central Library, University of Dhaka. However, later other eight creative students willingly involved themselves for the formation of this Club. Mehadi Hasan Asif, Pritom Dash, Feroz Sharif, Shead Ashraf, Md Hasanur Rahman Sharif, Shoaib Nabil , Rubaiya Sultana, Rahinaul Abedin and Morshed Alam are those students.

Now, Psychology Reading Club has more than thirty members working together without any terms and conditions. All the members and Teachers work here as a family.

Now, Psychology Reading Club has a good amount of well wishers also. It’s Facebook "Fan Page" https://www.facebook.com/prcdu suggests that its Fan is increasing daily.

The General stimulus of Psychology Reading Club is to share knowledge effectively, to reinforce reading habit of its members and volunteers. It works for igniting young mind.

The specific stimulus of Psychology Reading Club is to know about other subject areas such as, Philosophy, Sociology, Economics, Criminology, Anthropology, Political Science, Journalism, Law, Peace and Conflict, linguistics, Bengali and English, Music, Arts and literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc.

Psychology Reading Club wants that all of its members and volunteers will explore their full aptitude in yonder future. Psychology Reading Club arranges reading circle or session in every week. It has successfully arranged its 26th session recently. It arranges its entire reading circle at Monday 3:15 P.M.

The members of Psychology Reading Club have a great thrust for knowledge. They believe that one day they will create their own new ideas by this way of sharing knowledge, by formulating a great reading habit. The motivation of Psychology reading Club is “When we know better, we do better"
