INTRODUCTION

Music and Performing arts enjoy universality of appeal while transcending all boundaries of language, nationality, age and gender. All of it is indispensable in gradient of art and culture; and art and culture is the backbone of a civilized society. Thus, a community develops human mind and soul by having a strong foundation of cultural background. Through the development of art and culture, a community develops its intelligence, maturity and broadness. Culturally enriched community produces a richer nation. It gives a clear vision to the mankind to create a better world.

Music sets a guideline toward mental development. People learn to be tolerant and compassionate toward each other breaking all barriers of differences and bring harmony between cast, creed, religion, color and race. Traditional classical music brings humility and gentleness in a person. Music works as therapy, and foster love and kindness to one’s heart makes better human being. Music is more than mere entertainment. Its spiritual aspect is more important to human life. Music fosters sanity, serenity and peace of mind in daily life. Perhaps, it is time for our society to realize that music is more than just being a celebrity in the limelight. Now is the time to take strong initiative in developing ourselves culturally and build a better nation for the future generation.

What better way could there be than having an institute that can play a key role in implanting cultural awareness in people. Music, dance, theater, literature, drama, painting, cinema, sports, all these are considered; intellectual subjects. It requires a strong aesthetic sense.

Raag Rang Music College is soon going to start its activities. Our objective is to promote Classical music and its various genres. Students of all age can enroll in the programmes offered by the institute. We encouraged the students to be focused on the art and shall try our best by trying to attend each individuals and find a way to explain why music is so important to human life. A unique teaching method has helped our students to comprehend without many difficulties.

Classical music brings humility, brings awareness of the surroundings. Music is the path to reach the supreme. Music is bliss!
