Royal Tripura Foundation

The Royal Tripura Foundation was started with the initiative to ensure
that there is overall development of the rural areas as well as
providing relief to the affected people of the region.

Over a period of time the Royal Tripura Foundation has provided and
supported various people, villages and artistes.

The Maichang Village

In the Dhalai District, the Royal Tripura Foundation has actively
worked and provided help to one of the poorest villages in the state
of Tripura. The work had led to rehabilitation of families and a
community center as well as a English school.

25 Parivar Project
In the Tribal Village of 25 Parivar Village in Charilam area The Royal
Tripura Foundation has provided relief by ensuring water and
electricity in the village.

50 Parivar Village

In the Tribal Village of 50 Parivar Village in Charilam area The Royal
Tripura Foundation has provided relief by ensuring water and in
assistance of a widow in the village in the village.

Thalcherra
The Royal Tripura Foundation is providing shelter and rebuilding homes
in Thalcherra, one of the poorest places in the country by providing
CGI Tin Sheets and working with the villagers for health camp

Dhumacherra
Providing a ambulance for the people of the area as basic health care
infrastructure is minimal and the required infrastructure is at a
distance .An ambulance has been provided there.

Fakirmura
In the Fakirmura area the royal Tripura Foundation has provided relief
by giving hand water pumps and also providing financial and material
help for the local Mosque in the area.


Donation of Mosquito nets and Blankets in Nongmynsong area in the
state of Meghalaya .The Royal Tripura Foundation has donated blankets
,football boots and Mosquito nets in the Nongmynsong area in the state
of Meghalaya.

Providence School ,Shillong

The Royal Tripura Foundation has donated computer’s and also other
materials for the Providence school in Shillong run by Brother D souza
for the underprivillged children.


Besides this the Royal Tripura Foundation along with TNT –The
Northeast Today also collaborated an international Rock Concert with
the internationally acclaimed band White Lion and Firehouse and the
proceeds from the concert went to provide a potable clean drinking
water plant within the school premises. Also the Royal Tripura
Foundation provided free meals to the students for the entire year
with the extra proceeds from the concerts.



The Royal Tripura foundation also runs a school in Maichang under the
name ‘Maharaja Kirit Bikram Memorial School’ and provides education to
the rural and the poor tribals of the area.
