ধোয়াইর - Dhoair, Dohar, Dhaka

Dhoair, a combination of four smaller villages (Paschim Dhoair, Uttor Dhoair, Moddho Dhoair and Purbo Dhoair) is quite a large village in the north-western tip of the Upzilla of Dohar, Dhaka. This village borders with Nawabganj Upzilla on the north, Shilakotha/Anta on the east and Barrah on the south. The mighty river of the Padma flows on the western side of the village. A village of several thousand residents, Dhoair has 9 mosques, a madrasa, a high school and two primary schools. The main local market of Dhoair Bazar is on the verge of extinction due to river erosion.
