The Bangladesh National Museum (বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় যাদুঘর)

-well organized; housed chronologically in several departments such as department of ethnography and decorative art, department of history and classical art, department of natural history, and department of contemporary and world civilization
-has a rich conservation laboratory

-divided into 22 rooms.
-1st room: a large map showing the map of Bangladesh
-Room#3 to #10: natural scenery
-#11 to #22: historic relics up to 1900 including the room of different boats

-photos of famous people; showcases the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Language Movement of 1952; posters used in the war; a torture machine; also two libraries
3rd Floor
-pictures of International politicians, artists, scientists
-4 international galleries—Chinese, Korean, Iranian and Swiss
