Bangladesh Navy School & College, Dhaka

Mirpur area of Dhaka city has been enriched with a number of renowned educational institutions. Among these great institutions Bangladesh Navy College Dhaka is one of them. This college is situated at the Naval restricted area in Mirpur.14 adjacent to Dhaka Cantonment. Any one is fascinated at its neatness, decorative beauty and above all natural surroundings. This college started her journey as Fahmida Cantt. School on 21 February 1978. It was converted into BN School Dhaka in 1982. On the other hand, BN College Dhaka came into being in July 1996 as a separate institution. As per directives of Naval Headquarters, BN College and School were combined together in October 1998 and named as BN College Dhaka. The College authority has always been keen to keep all kinds of developing activities continued. With the flow of development the college building has been three storied and created the facilities of laboratory rooms, students. common room and increased the facilities of the library room. The college started with two groups such as Science and Arts. At present it has three groups including Commerce. The Principal, Lecturers, Teachers and Officials as well as fourth class employees, all are dedicated to improve this institution in al respects.
