BRAC University Global Model United Nations

BUGMUN 2014 was the first Model United Nations hosted by BRAC University and organized by IABC | BRAC University back in 2014. BUGMUN 2014 broke many records in the field of MUN after its inception making it a one of a kind event from its onset. BUGMUN 14 was the first residential MUN with the highest number of committees, for any MUN held in Bangladesh at the time.

Following the success of BUGMUN 2014, BUGMUN 2016 was organized for the second time with a more diverse and eclectic delegate and executive body and outstanding committee sessions. BUGMUN’16 lasted for 6 days and 5 nights, packed with invigorating diplomacy and energizing social events. The conference consisted of 14 committees, introducing a roaming committee, International Press. Keeping each phase as a benchmark, BUGMUN continues to bring about more to the year 2017.
