BUP Literature & Debating Club

Founded in 2012 as two separate clubs, BUP Literature Club and BUP Debating Club successfully merged in 2015 to begin the journey of one of the most revered clubs in BUP’s history: BUP Literature and Debating Club (BUPLDC). Now an extended family of over 200 unique and enthusiastic members, BUPLDC has always found strength in the diversity of its members.

BUPLDC is the gatekeeper and facilitator of everything to do with debating, writing, poetry and the fine arts in BUP. It presents you with opportunities to express your latent talent using varying mediums such as writing, debating, sketching, acting, film-making and much much more.

BUPLDC also puts its young members in leadership positions challenging them to organize and execute innovative eye-catching events. It also focuses its efforts in humanitarian activities like fundraising during disasters.

As of 2017, BUPLDC has organized countless debating, writing, film-making, quizzing and cultural events. It also publishes a magazine chronicling creative work submitted by BUP students.
