Career and Placement Center - CPC of North South University

North South University (NSU) is the first private university in Bangladesh to establish the Department of Career and Placement Center. It started its journey as Department of Career Services (DCS) and later on with inclusion of Professional Development Programs (PDP), it had earned its former name Career and Professional Development Services (CPDS). Over the last few years, CPC is recognized as a comprehensive career management support platform for NSU students as it arranges internship & job placement opportunities, career counseling, job training, professional development and Graduate Survey report.

Mission:
To provide highly skilled interns/ graduates, visionary leaders and well groomed professionals.

Goal:
To promote professional development of students, graduates of NSU and other institutions through organizing training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences.

Major functions of this department are:

Internship Placement:
It allows students to get an exposure to professional life in their field of study. Internships are arranged with top organizations and financial institutions of the country. Students who are proceeding for internships are suppose to come to CPC in order to Sign-Up for the internships.

Job Placement & Job Search:
The department assists graduates search and find suitable jobs either immediately after graduation or over a period of time.

Study Abroad Program:
CPC maintains a library which contains reference materials and books about TOEFL, SAT, GRE and GMAT .It also has catalogues, flyers and information brochures of universities in USA, UK, Australia and Canada. CPDS also organizes seminars, workshops and training programs for NSU Faculty/Staff and outside participants.
