‘Chittagong institute of Photography’ has started it's journey in December 2012.

In the last decade or so Bangladeshi photography has achieved remarkable recognition worldwide, and new generation has involved with this medium more than ever before.
To understand this medium better, there is no alternative to quality education, and there are always struggles to find a good institute and environment for photography education in Chittagong. The idea of setting up "Chittagong institute of Photography" is to allow students to understand the visual medium and to explore the global context of creativity in the world of photography.
The institute has already held many workshops, portfolio review sessions for aspiring photographers, basic and advanced courses for beginners and Mentorship program for advanced level students.
