Facilities

At present the college & the attached teaching hospital are accommodated in well populated with good communication facilities with all the parts of Dhaka & country as well in Darus Salam of Mirpur in the eight storied building.



Very soon the authority expects to shift the college building in ten storied annexed building presently under construction.



In future the land will be utilized for expansion of hospital building with modern facilities to make the institution as one of the precious, prestigious leading health care delivery institution in Bangladesh.

Departments:

We established all the required departments with teaching & experimental material for a full fledged medical college. All the teachers of different departments are highly qualified, skilled & dedicated. Services of experienced retired teachers are also utilized. To ensure standard of medical education almost all the faculty members have gone through the certificate courses offered by Centre for Medical Education organized by college authority.
Library:

Library is the mirror of a teaching instititution. Fully air conditioned college library is situated at the 7th floor of college building. It provides seating arrangement of 65 students at a time & remains open from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. There is a separate reading room for the faculty members with internet facilities of own. It is run by the Chief Librarian who was the former Chief Librarian of Bangladesh College of Physicians & surgeons (BCPS), with one assistant librarian & two supporting staffs.

It has sufficient number of text & reference books of different disciplines & specialties including the latest editions on all major subjects. It receives 65 titles of current journals including two international journals regularly. All the books are duly classified & catalogued using international rules & code. The teachers of the college are able to meet the necessary demands for reference for ongoing research activities.The library is equipped with full time internet facilities with easy access to many on line databases like PubMed, Medline, HINARI, AGORA, OARE etc. The users are able to browse through these databases, download & print the requirement according to the need.
