The credit for having established sociology into an independent and a separate science and to obtain for sociology a respectable position in the family of social science goes to comte and spenccer.Other thinkers such as Durkheim,Marx and Weber leading to sociology .hence these five thinkers are often called the "Pioneer" or "Founding father of Sociology".................Auguest Comte (1798-1857)the franch philosopher ,is traditionally considered the '"Father of Sociology".comte who introduced the word "SOCIOLOGY" for the frist time in his famous work "positive Philosophy" at about 1839.
