Dhupguri

Dhupguri is a municipality in Jalpaiguri district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is one of the main business centres of Dooars area.GeographyDhupguri is located at. The Koches called themselves "Kamateshwars" (the rulers of Kamata), but their influence and expansions were so extensive and far reaching that their kingdom is sometimes called the Koch Kingdom. The regulated market, locally known as Dhupguri Hut, was established for the wholesale transactions of all agriculture products. It is the second largest in West Bengal.
