Now-a-days Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the most important branches of Engineering. Out of all specialization this field has the largest number of career opportunities. Every industry, institution and organization feels the need of on Electronic Engineers and Computer Specialist. Carrier opportunities in Telecommunication field, especially in mobile and wireless communication area are increasing day by day. Keeping the need of the day in mind Daffodil International University opened Electronics and Telecommunication Department on 10 June, 2003. Graduate and post graduate programs has been designed to produce skilled Engineers who can compete internationally, able to produce creative solutions to the society’s needs, be conscious to the universal moral values, adherent to the professional ethical code and can generate and disseminate knowledge and technologies essential to the local and global needs in this field. The degree program is attractive and up to-date 4 years B.Sc. Engineering course. The graduates from the department are getting absorbed almost immediately in different national and international organizations. Recently a 2 years M.Sc program has been designed by the department and the program will start functioning from Spring 2008.
