Govt. Science College, Dhaka

Government Science College, Dhaka is a public educational institution located at Tejgaon in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is one of the two public colleges in Dhaka. It was formerly named Government Intermediate Technical College. It has Garden and indivisual Lab. This was the only college of Dhaka where science, technology, and basic engineering design could be studied throughout the High School level for the beginners with high ambitious to be an engineer or technologist/scientist.

History :
This historical college started from 1954 in the name of Technical High School. But, in 1962 this school changed its name as “Intermediate Technical college”. On 19 November 1985, this college changed its name as Government Science College. At first This college had only science department. But from 2009, it has also included commerce.
