The basic rights without which humankind cannot live freely with human dignity, cannot express and flourish human virtues and scholarships, and cannot obtain justice are considered as Human Rights.

In the past, when human races were trying to follow self-made doctrines, only then developed the social and political displeasure and conflict for rights between nations. Only the Islamic ideological stipulations as chosen by the almighty Allah can resolve all the humanitarian issues very equitably and flawlessly.

Human Rights Review Society (HRRS), a leading humanitarian organization of Bangladesh has been working on human rights issues for more than a decade. This is a government approved, non-political, non-profit, non-government voluntary and social welfare organization that keeps vigilant and watchful eye on cases of human rights violation, and exerts in implementing human rights at all levels.

The aim and objectives of Human Rights Review Society (HRRS) are:

(1) To assist in establishing fundamental rights at all levels;
(2) to extend legal assistance to the poor and helpless people;
(3) to provide legal aid to the poor and distressed women;
(4) to give legal aid to the acid victims and organize social movement against acid throwing;
(5) to extend assistance to the orphans, helpless, disabled, handicapped people;
(6) to provide medical treatment to the poor patients;
(7) to assist the victims of flood, drought, cyclone, epidemic etc;
(8) to build drug-free society and to take up programs on aids prevention;
(9) to arrange for training to upgrade the unskilled work-force to skilled level;
(10) to provide help to the poor but meritorious students to enhance the standard of education;
(11) to extend help to the slum-dwellers in uplifting their socio-economic condition;
(12) to assist in the extension of technical education;
(13) to help mitigate social crises and help in adopting alternative method of mediation;
(14) to work as election observer;
(15) to organize seminar, symposium, workshop and schooling for the above humanitarian services; and
(16) to work in collaboration with other organizations and institutions of similar ideology and exchange assistance, etc.
