Jalma Chakrakhali Secondary School- জলমা চকরাখালি মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়।

The founder of the school was Late Kalidas Tikader. Mr. Tikader along with several other individuals established this school in 1947 after the years of afford and sacrifice. He was also the first Headmaster of the school and hold this position till his death in 1997. In 1961 the first batch was graduated from this school. Now the school has three two-stored and a one-stored buildings. The environment of the campus is absolutely beautiful. There are 2 fields, 2 ponds, several beautiful trees and a beautiful garden in the school. Since the inception of the school, every year the students get immense success in the Secondary School Certificate exam. The school not only provides best quality of education but also makes sure all the students are regularly involves in extra-curriculum activities. Mr. Tapon Kumar Biswas is the current Headmaster of the school. Now nearly one thousand students study here. Many alumni of the school are now well established in different part of the world.
