Keokradong

Keokradong is a peak located in Bangladesh, with a questioned altitude of 883 metres (2897 ft), and it is located on the border between Bangladesh and Myanmar (also known as Burma). Some sources claim it as the highest point of Bangladesh.

On the top of Keokradong there is a small shelter and a signboard put up by the Bangladeshi military proclaiming the altitude to be 3,172 feet.

Height measured by handheld GPS shows it is 986 metres (3,235 ft) with 3m accuracy.

There is a controversy about the highest point of Bangladesh, and some sources indicate Mowdok Mual as the most elevated peak of the country.

তাজিংডং চিহ্নিত হবার আগ পর্য়ন্ত এটি ছিল দেশের সর্বোচ্চ পর্বতশৃঙ্গ। এর উচ্চতা প্রায় ৪,৩৩২ ফুট। এটিও রুমা উপজেলায় অবস্থিত। পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম উন্নয়ন বোর্ডের সৌজন্যে রুমা সদর থেকে কেওক্রাডং এর নিকটবর্তী বগালেক পর্যন্ত একটি রাস্তা নির্মিত হয়েছে। ফলে গাড়িতে চড়ে সহজেই বগালেক গিয়ে তারপর পায়ে হেটে এ পাহাড়ে যাওয়া যায়। দূর্গম পাহাড়ী দৃশ্য সৌন্দর্য্য পিপাসুদের মন কাড়বেই।
