Magura Govt.H.S.S. College

Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy College was established in the year of 1940 as "Islamic Intermediate College". In 1946 this institution was named after the eminent leader Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, the late state minister. The Degree (B.A) Level of Education started from 1956. In 1962 Science and Commerce of Intermediate curriculum commenced respectively. In 1964 the Discipline of Commerce and in 1972 the Discipline of Science in Degree Level were introduced to the overall academic management. Today we educate our "graduates" in 14 different subjects of Honours with a hope to introduce Master Level soon.
