Introduction and Location

This is one of the popular Secondary educational institute located at village Nagore ghope, beside the Jessore-Sathkhira Link road adjacent to the small local bazaar Fakir rasta 500 meters away of Chinatola Bazar under Shayamkur Union of Monirampur Upazila. The total land area of the school is 1.31 acre on which it has L shaped tin shade and a concrete building.

History

Nagore ghope M.L (Multi-Level) High School (Board reg. as Nagerghop Secondary School) established in 1970 as Lower level Secondary School and got accreditation of Jessore Education Board in 1974 as full secondary School. The required land for the school was given by the notable Social worker Mohammad Sobed Ali Molla. Initially the institution appeared as a small raw building but now it has a semi-concrete structural building.

Contribution and Personalities

Those who contributed for the institution as it is today, among them who are ever memorable Late Mohammad Karim Moral, Dr. Krishnapodo Paul, Mr. Shirazul Islam, Shree Bimal Kumar, Gopal Chandra bit etc. and none the less the local residents.
The notable personality of this area and in Jessore district Dr. Abdul Ohab who served as the Chairman of the School for long time has memorable contribution for the School. He succeeded to manage the discipline and laws tightly so that the school runs smoothly which yielded good results in public exams and reputation for the institution.

Karim Bakhsh Gold Medal

The famous heart and Chest specialist Dr. Abdul Ohab who served as the Chairman of the School for long time introduced the award to inspire the young students for their outstanding performance in the Secondary School certificate Exams in the memory of his uncle Late Alhajj Karim Bakhsh who was the founder of this school. Every year who score the highest marks/GPA is eligible for this award.

Latest condition and urge for Concentration

It is rumored and found by news release that the novel is now polluted by some bad guys and village politics! The management and governing body which comprises by them is controlling over the infrastructure, operation and overall activities that resulting a bad reputation and educational environment for the institution.
Immediate concentration is required to re-establish its past golden era for a sound educational environment and model institution.
