Priya Entertainments is the largest employer in the Entertainment Industry in Eastern India. We also own the highest number of single screens in Eastern India.

We had been the sole distributors for the three biggest Hollywood studios- Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney for releasing their films in Eastern India.

Our company deploys transparent and efficient management processes. The strength of our management system has been a key factor in the decision of the West Bengal Government to entrust us with the responsibility of running its most venerated Exhibition Theatres.


We have a unique record of corporate social responsibility by forming Public-Private Partnerships with local civic bodies and communities that have been very fruitful:

a) Our association with Sriniketan Santiniketan Development Authority is the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with a Development Agency in West Bengal in connection with The Gitanjali Cultural Complex in Santiniketan (Bolpur).

b) Our association with Memari Municipality is the first PPP with a Municipality in West Bengal in connection with The Krishti Cultural Complex in Memari.

c) Our association with Kolkata Municipal Corporation is the first PPP with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in West Bengal in connection with The Star Theatre in North Kolkata.

d) Our impending association with the civic body in Illambazar is going to be the first PPP with a Zilla Parishad (elected district council/apex body above the Panchayat system) in West Bengal in connection with the cultural complex in Illambazar.

We strongly believe that our success depends upon the creativity and skills of our in-house creative team. We have a selected team who look into the various aspects of film distribution and we have formed a separate team of specialists for the purpose of film production.

Our company aims to straddle different segments of the entertainment industry as well as different aspects of the value chain within each segment enabling us to build scale, increase revenue streams, mitigate losses, leverage on opportunities and skill sets and avoid potential downturns.
