Rupali Fish Hatchery

Rupali FIsh Hatchery Founded in 1984 by Hafez Sheikh Mesbah Uddin. Son of Late Haji Mohsin Ali aka Mohsin Master who is renowned as a pioneer in fish culture scenario in the district of Khulna Bangladesh. who is also the founder of first private fish hatchery in khulna division where his son Sheikh Mesbah Uddin learned and trained himself the art of producing fish spawn from his beloved father. Rupali Fish Hatchery is the only hatchery in Bangladesh to win Two National Gold Medal award for producing most quality fish spawn in the year of 1996 and 2001 which was awarded by the prime minister of people republic of Bangladesh. This hatchery is also awarded as the best hatchery in south asia by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in the year of 2001 in Thailand where the Princess of thailand handed this certificate and a gold medal to Hafez Sheikh Mesbah Uddin. Rupali fish hatchery is very popular for quality fish production as it collects its mother fish from Halda and Padma river. the goal of this hatchery is to eradicate poverty by spreading fish production and meeting the nutrition of human body and be food independent in 2021.
