Shadhona Cultural Circle - A Center for Advancement of South Asian Culture

Shadhona - A Center for Advancement of Southasian Culture has been working tirelessly for the past twenty-five years to promote the performing arts of Southasia, particularly Bangladesh, among young enthusiasts of Dhaka. Shadhona is now launching a self-sustainable, membership based performing arts network, operating under the guidance of Shadhona's Board of Trustees.

There will be a yearly membership fee of Tk.1000.- per year which will entitle members to a monthly recital of performing arts by Bangladeshi artistes. Non-members may attend on payment of an entry fee. Other events organized by the Cultural Circle will be ticketed with priority seat-allocation to members of the Circle.

The Aim of the Shadhona Cultural Circle is:

1. Show-case performing arts in Bangladesh by providing a platform for promising artistes of the country.
2. Enhance patronization of the arts by creating an awareness about the various genres of performing arts in Bangladesh.
3. Celebrate the strengths of Bangladesh's performing arts.
