Tufanganj is a sub-division town and a municipality in Cooch Behar district in the Indian state of West Bengal.GeographyTufanganj is located at. It has an average elevation of 70 metres (229 feet). One Polytechnic college has been build in near Chamta called Tufanganj Polytechnic College. One ITI College is also located here near Tufanganj Mahavidyalaya students are studying here in different courses. One central School is also located here name Tufanganj Jawarlal Nehru Navodaya Vidyalay.
