We arranged 1st International Women’s Film Festival Bangladesh in Dhaka from 10 to 12 March 2014 under the auspices of Women’s Film Society, Bangladesh.

International Women's Film Festival Bangladesh, where Films from across the globe will be showcased with the only difference that films made must have Women to be applicable for the competition. IWFFB Looking for films solely about women’s issues that films made must have Women.

IWFFB film screenings serve as a catalyst for creating and facilitating dialogue through the power of independent film making, and represent a range of perspectives, both locally and globally.
IWFFB is our way to bring the women filmmakers forward and give them the spotlight they truly deserve!

Women’s film festivals aim to provide a true perception of women, whether they are victorious or defeated .With an industry that is dominated by males, these film festivals have turned into a global project by, for and about women.

The festival contributes to the development of women’s positive values and plays an essential role establishing a network between Bangladesh and the other countries.
